Lancia Stratos 1974 The Lancia Stratos was a legendary rally car that was produced by the Italian manufacturer Lancia from 1974 to 1975. It was designed specifically for rallying and was the first car designed from scratch for this purpose. The Lancia Stratos was powered by a mid-mounted 2.4-liter V6 engine that produced around 190 horsepower. It featured a distinctive wedge-shaped design with a short wheelbase and a wide track, which helped to give it excellent handling and agility on the rally stages. The Lancia Stratos achieved great success in rallying, winning the World Rally Championship three times in a row from 1974 to 1976.
