Sea Harrier FRS The Sea Harrier FRS (Fighter Reconnaissance Strike) is a British naval jet fighter aircraft designed for air defense and strike missions. It was developed from the Hawker Siddeley Harrier, specifically for operations from aircraft carriers. The Sea Harrier is known for its vertical/short takeoff and landing (V/STOL) capability, made possible by its unique engine nozzle design.
